Five years on the car.
Proof from every mile.
No countdown.
Funding is the finish line.
in verified leading bids toward $80,000. Each bid is backed by a 20% Stripe deposit; the auction locks at the finish line.
23 opening bids total $80,000. Every position is priced to make the full livery the finish line.
Not parked.
Out in the world.
The 997.2 will regularly move between Des Moines, Chicago, and Toronto. Sponsors receive an ongoing public trail of locations, parks, roadside stops, and car events—without publishing Marcel's live location.
Your logo gets a
five-year photo stream.
Every meaningful drive creates sponsor-ready evidence—not a vague promise that the car is “out there.”
Recognizable, privacy-safe location photography across the corridor.
Clean exterior shots wherever the car becomes part of the scene.
Event entries, meets, details, and sponsor-facing recap content.
Fuel stops, milestones, weather, and memorable road-side stories.
Real guarantees.
No invented impressions.
The commitment is placement, care, content, and proof. No sponsor is promised a specific number of views, sales, or conversions.
A full five-year term
The sponsorship clock starts on installation and pauses after 30 consecutive days off the road.
Constant photo proof
Frequent drops from locations, parks, the Des Moines–Chicago–Toronto corridor, and every car event attended.
Annual media kit
A fresh set of high-resolution photographs and vertical clips your team can reuse every year.
Livery kept sharp
Normal fading, peeling, or wear is replaced at Marcel’s expense at no charge to the sponsor.
Permanent sponsor page
Your profile, approved story, and backlink remain live for the full term.
A policy with teeth
If the car is permanently unavailable, choose equivalent placement or the contract’s prorated refund.
$80,000 gets
the car on the road.
The target is intentionally simple: $70,000 for the Porsche 997.2, $5,000 for tax, title, and registration, and $5,000 for professional livery design and installation.

you take a spot.
When does the auction end?+
There is no date-based countdown. The auction locks the instant approved leading bids total $80,000. Until then, every open or claimed spot can receive a qualifying bid.
How do deposits and final payment work?+
Stripe charges 20% when a bid is placed and securely saves the card for settlement. If the bid loses or is outbid, PROJECT 997 automatically initiates a full deposit refund. Winners are charged the remaining 80% when Marcel finalizes the auction; a bank may still require cardholder authentication.
What does “constant photos” mean?+
Frequent proof throughout the five-year term: city arrivals, parks, public locations, meaningful road-trip stops, and car events. The published journal will never expose Marcel's live location.
What happens if the car needs repairs?+
Normal short maintenance does not change the term. If the car is unavailable for more than 30 consecutive days, the sponsor clock pauses until it returns.
Can any company bid?+
Every sponsor and creative is reviewed. Illegal products, hate, explicit content, political campaigning, direct competitors to an exclusive title partner, and designs that compromise road safety may be rejected.
Are impressions or sales guaranteed?+
No. PROJECT 997 guarantees the placement, its upkeep, ongoing documentation, annual media, and sponsor page—not a fabricated view or revenue number.
Is this affiliated with Porsche?+
No. PROJECT 997 is an independent sponsorship campaign and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Porsche AG.
